Good Morning Men of God,
Well if you are a Giants fan you are very happy this
morning. And if you are a Patriots fan, well, better luck next year.

Anyway, life is more than a football game. It is about
fulfilling what God created each of us for. It is about touching others for the
Kingdom of
God as we go about doing
what God has us doing each day.
Pastor Terry has called 2012 the year of ‘Mobilizing for
Ministry’ and we have a monthly theme to go along with the theme for the year.
February is ‘Love’. It is about walking in love, with kindness and patience.
Remember that God is love and we as Christians are to be Christ like so we are
to walk in His love. 1 Corinthians 13 is known as the love chapter in the Bible.
One thing that I noticed that is NOT in the chapter is that it does not tell us
to only walk in love when things are going good in our life or when others are
treating us right.
No, we are to walk in godly love at all times. So I
challenge each of you to walk in godly love this week in all situations.
Practice the things that Paul talks about in his letter to the church at
Corinth. Verses
4-8 tell us what love is and verse 13 tells us to “abide in faith hope and
love…” and then it tells us that the greatest is
love.
Men, let’s not let the world or others dictate how we
act or respond to life, let each one of us make the conscience decision that no
matter what, we are going to walk in Love this week. And if we miss the mark,
ask for forgiveness and do better the next time.
Also men, put on your calendars 23 & 24 March for
our Men’s Conference. Dr. Earl Johnson will be here and impart into us men from
over 40 years in the ministry.
Men, have a blessed week. Practice walking in love with
those who have tested your patience in the past.
God Bless each of you and your families this
week,
Love in Christ,
Steve
